Sharing Workdrive Files with a non-Zoho user

Overview

This allows anyone with the link to access the folder — even if they don’t have a Zoho account.

Method

  1. Go to your Zoho WorkDrive.
  2. Select the folder you want to share. 
  3. Click on the Share button above the list of folders.
  4. Choose “New External share link”

  5. Enter the persons email address that you want to share with.
  6. Choose the permissions you want:
    View Only — recipients can only view or download files.
    Comment — recipients can leave comments.
    Edit — recipients can modify files (optional for external users).
  7. Optionally, set:
    Password protection
    Expiration date
    Download restrictions
  8.  Click create and copy the generated link and share it by email.
