Overview
If an email has been sent mistakenly or an attachment missed, then it is possible to recall the email if certain conditions are met.
Method
Important Note: The email cannot be recalled in the following
scenarios:
· If the recipient is not from within your
organization.
· If the email has already been shared or is part
of a Shared folder.
· If a recall is attempted by a user (30 minutes)
or an Administrator (24 hours) after the specified time limit from when the
email is sent.
· Emails fetched by POP/IMAP accounts cannot be
recalled.
1. Go into the sent folder, on click on the green
tick, Mail Delivery Status (MDS) icon,
2. Select recall this email
3. The following message appears, select
OK.
4. When the process is complete the following icon appears
