Transfer a domain away from Parish Online

Getting a Transfer Authorisation Code

If you'd like to transfer your gov.uk, or any alternative domain away from Parish Online, simply email support and we'll generate a Transfer Authorisation Code and send it back to you.

Check your options as a Parish Online Email customer

When you have a free or paid-for GOV.UK email address, you have a few options:
  1. Keep your domain and email with us, and ask your new website provider to provide the DNS records they need to make the new site use the domain. (If Parish Online host our domain but not our website, how do we get our GOV.UK domain to show on our website?)
  2. Transfer the domain away and switch to our paid-for email package (£160 ex vat in year 1, £260 each subsequent year)
  3. Transfer the domain away and use another email provider. Your GOV.UK mailbox with us will close down after 10 days of providing the TAC, so ensure your new provider has a mailbox system ready to transfer to.
