What are Cadastral parcels?
Cadastral parcels are defined pieces of land that are recorded in a cadastre (in this case, the public land register from HM Land Registry). Each parcel has precise boundaries and is used for legal, taxation, and property ownership purposes.
INSPIRE ID numbers are unique identifiers assigned to cadastral parcels under the INSPIRE Directive (an EU initiative for spatial data infrastructure). These IDs ensure that each parcel can be uniquely identified across different systems and countries, supporting cross-border data sharing and integration within the EU.
In Parish Online, you can follow the link To HM Land Registry's facility to search by INSPIRE ID. If you paste the number for the piece of land you are researching into this, it will provide the information held by HM Land registry for that parcel of land.

Note that this layer does not give you access to the Title Deeds or the name of the owner, it's simply a map representation of the area that's owned.
