Plotting renewable energy items on the map using the Parish Online National Maps

Overview

Under the "National Maps - Net Zero" collection there are a number of layers that can be used for plotting items like EV chargers, solar panels and non-fossil fuel heating types, like heat pumps.

These layers are populated using a form, rather than the usual Feature Editor.

Note: this is an experimental feature and may not always function as expected.

Assigning items to a property

To add items to a property;
  1. Turn on the Property Points layer within the National Maps collection. (Note: this is different to the AddressBase layer under the Addresses collection)
  2. Click a Property Point on the map
  3. Click the "Submit Property Statistics" link in the Info panel.
  4. Follow the steps in the form and answer as many questions as you like. Then click Submit
The information will then be displayed in the relevant layers within the Property Statistics collection.
