If we use your website service, does it include SSL?

Yes, all our customer websites are protected using SSL certificates.

We provide SSL certificates for your website (and email) for free. We will never charge for these.

Certificates last typically for a few months, but we automatically renew them before they expire.

p.s. why do I need SSL?

SSL is essentially encryption for your website. It makes sure that any information sent between our website servers and the person viewing the website cannot be intercepted by 3rd parties (hackers etc).

If someone wants to interact with your website, e.g. submit a contact form, then by seeing the SSL padlock in the URL bar, they can be sure that that information will not be leaked anywhere.
