Downloading documents from emails

Overview

If you've received an email with an attachment this shows you how to open the attachment.

Method

  1. In the email, scroll down to the attachment.  Select "download"


  2. Go to the downloads at the top right of the window and select open file.  Where the file has been saved in an app that you have installed on your computer this will just open up e.g. if it's a Word document and you have Word installed or if it's a PDF file and you have a PDF reader installed.

  3. If the file has been saved in an app that you do not have installed e.g. Zoho file format, when you click "open file" a new window will open up giving you the choice of available apps on your computer to open this file with.  For Zoho Writer, choose Word; for Zoho Sheet, select Excel.
