Parish Online is a subscription service that's charged on an annual basis. Some accounts may qualify for a discount or rebate to their subscription costs. Here are some of the discounts available:
This is applied to Parish Online accounts that have been with us since the beginning. They've been instrumental in the guiding of the Parish Online service and have helped us by providing feedback, committing to subscribing to the service, and spreading the word. For this we're truly grateful and so we apply an Early Adopter discount to their subscription as a 'thank you'.
Providing the Council stay subscribed to Parish Online and don't let their subscription lapse through non-payment or actively unsubscribing, they'll keep their Early Adopter discount.
This discount is applied to Parish Online accounts where a body other than themselves are paying for their subscription. This is usually a Local Authority who has negotiated a discounted rate with us in order to provide Parish Online to all their Local Councils. This means it's free-at-the-point-of-use for those Councils. In the Billing section they'll see the price their subscription should be, but it'll be 100% discounted.
If a group subscription comes to an end then each Council will have to pay for their subscription individually.
Local Councils can lobby their Local Authorities to sign up discounted group deals with Parish Online.
Parish Online Mapping subscriptions are sometimes offered by other companies as a tool to carry out specific tasks, such as creating asset registers. In these cases, the rebate is applied to the Parish Online subscription and remains in force for as long as the rebate deal is in place. Just like the group subscription discount, this means Parish Online is provided free for those qualifying Councils. In the Billing section they'll see the price their subscription should be, but it'll be 100% discounted.
