Change the Primary Colour of your website
Overview
Your Parish Online Website has one primary colour. This gives your site a consistent and accessible colour scheme.
If you would like to change the colour, you can do so from the Admin Panel. You may want to do this to match your logo, or to have a complementary colour to your header image.
Note: We don't recommend changing this too regularly, as visitors to your site will become accustom to your website theme. Changing it will create uncertainty for the visitor.
Method
To change the colour of your website:
- Log into your Website Admin Panel
- Click on General in the left-hand panel
- Scroll down to Theme Colours
- Either paste a Hex colour code into the text box, or use the colour picker to choose a colour.
- Click Update
Note: If your chosen colour does not meet the WCAG 2.2 AAA contrast ratio requirements then there'll be a button to suggest the closest compliant colour. Click the "Adjust Primary" button to choose the closest colour.
