In order to ensure that the website remains compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA we do not offer the option to add a live Facebook Feed. For the website to meet WCAG 2.2 AA, everything presented within the website needs to meet the relevant accessibility requirements. With an embedded Facebook feed, we cannot control the keyboard behaviour, labels, contrast, images, videos or future changes Facebook makes to the feed.
The accessible alternative which we provide is a link to the Facebook page. Facebook then becomes a separate external service rather than content embedded within the council website.
